Split CD / Live Pics / Next Show

At our last show at Church, we co-released a new Split EP with Robert Ferent. The CDs were given away for free, and have, sadly, all gone. But, fear not! We’ve made the EP available Digitally for FREE! Head on over to our Bandcamp page to download.

Speaking of Saturday’s show, you can check out some pics of the evening, taken by Mick Murray, over at the Boston Dig’s website.

Our next show is scheduled for Saturday, June 30th, at The Middle East (Upstairs). Joining us will be All Echoes Return, The Year Million and I, Pistol. Mark your calendars!

Thanks! / Next Show

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who made it to our show last Thursday with Dagger Or A Dram & The Trews. It’s not always easy for everyone to make it to a show on a work night, but many of you pulled it off, and we really are grateful.

Our next show will be on Saturday, April 28th at Church. Full line-up is still to be determined (more info on that once it’s solidified). Mark your calendars!

To The Past & The Future!

1st and foremost, TOTEM wish everyone had a wonderful holiday season, and wishes you all the best for 2012.

From The Past…

We had a wonderful write-up from June completely escape our sensors. The great folks at Type 3 Media considered TOTEM an Artist To Watch in 2011 (and we like to think they were right on). You can check out what they had to say HERE. Many thanks to them for the kind words.

To The Future…

TOTEM is starting off 2012 in style, opening for The Trews with Dagger Or A Dram on Thursday, January 19th at Church. The Trews were just awarded one of the Best Albums of 2011 by Performer Magazine, so this is definitely going to be a show you don’t want to miss. The event is also serving as a Birthday celebration for close TOTEM confidant, Derek Nelson. Mark those calendars!

A Free Track For The Holidays

As a small token of our appreciation for all of those who visit the site, go to our shows, and support us anyway they can, here’s a late night acoustic cover of Radiohead’s “Karma Police”, performed solo by Gary. This impromptu performance was recorded using the iPhones lo-fi memo function, but we think it only adds to the overall feel of the track. We hope you enjoy!

Thanks to everyone who made it out to The Beachcomber on Black Friday! The acoustic performance was something new & exciting for us, and we’re glad we could share the experience with you. Special thanks also to Charlie Doherty & Didn’t Planet for sharing the stage with us.

The next scheduled TOTEM show is at Church on Thursday, January 19th 2012, supporting Canadian Juno Award Nominated act The Trews. Also playing the show will be Dagger Or A Dram. Mark your calendars!
